Buying and Selling a Home in North Salt Lake, Utah
If you want the newest housing in south Davis County, this is where it is. North Salt Lake has grown roughly two and a half times since 2000, and unlike Bountiful or Centerville — both essentially built out — that growth arrived as master-planned neighborhoods and higher-density product rather than scattered infill. Townhomes, newer single-family, and planned communities make up a much larger share of the inventory here than anywhere else nearby.
For a buyer coming from an older city, that means newer systems, fewer surprises at inspection, and usually an HOA. For a seller, it means your competition is close comparables, so pricing is tighter and condition matters at the margins.
Foxboro and Eaglewood
Foxboro and the Eaglewood golf community are the two names buyers ask for by name. They are very different products — Foxboro is the large master-planned neighborhood on the west side, Eaglewood is built around the golf course up against the hillside — and they attract different buyers at different price points. Knowing which one someone actually means saves a lot of wasted showings.
North Salt Lake schools
Woods Cross High School serves all residential areas of North Salt Lake. The high school is in the next city over, which surprises people, but the boundary is straightforward here compared with Bountiful or Layton. Elementary and middle assignments still vary by address, so confirm through Davis School District.
Parks and the hillside
Eaglewood Golf Course, Tunnel Springs Park up on the north bench, and Hatch Park closer in cover the outdoor side. The city climbs the hillside at its eastern edge, which produces valley views from the higher streets — and the price difference that comes with them.
